The Saudi Arabian Football Federation has confirmed its full readiness to host the AFC U17 Asian Cup™️ Saudi Arabia 2025, following the final inspection visit conducted by the Asian Football Confederation.
The President of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation, Yasser Al-Misehal, expressed his gratitude for the unwavering support of the Kingdom’s leadership in the sports sector, which has played a key role in securing the tournament. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s growing reputation as a leading hub for major sporting events, with this tournament joining a series of international competitions the country has successfully hosted in recent years.
Al-Misehal also praised the significant support from HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sport and President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, emphasizing the efforts to provide excellent facilities for both official matches and training sessions.
He added that hosting this continental tournament reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting and advancing Asian football. He expressed his anticipation for a highly competitive championship that will highlight the progress of Saudi football, along with the ongoing development of teams across the continent.
The AFC U17 Asian Cup™️ 2025 is scheduled to take place from April 3-20. Matches will be held at King Abdullah Sports City Hall Stadium and Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, plus King Fahd Sports City Stadium and Okaz Stadium in Taif. All venues have met the criteria set by Asian Football Confederation.
